Driver Injured in Rollover Crash on I-195 in East Providence
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — A driver was injured in a rollover crash on I-195 eastbound near Exit 2C on Tuesday at around 10:30 a.m., according to the Rhode Island Department of Transportation.
The Rhode Island State Police reported that a woman lost control of her vehicle, struck the center median, and subsequently rolled over. She suffered minor injuries and was transported to Women and Infants Hospital for treatment.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident. The crash caused traffic delays for approximately 40 minutes.
As of now, there are no citations or charges issued.
