WORCESTER, Mass. —
Authorities are investigating a collision where a driver crashed into a Dollar Tree store on Grafton Street around 4:10 p.m. on Friday.
The driver, an older woman, was the sole occupant of the vehicle and sustained minor injuries. She was transported to a nearby hospital, according to a spokesperson for the Worcester Fire Department.
Investigators reported that the vehicle struck another car before entering the store. It is unclear if there were customers inside the Dollar Tree at the time of the incident.
The store has been temporarily closed as the investigation continues. The cause of the crash is still under review, and authorities have not confirmed whether any charges will be filed against the driver.
