LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Las Vegas police are investigating a crash involving downed power lines in the east valley, reported shortly after 1:30 p.m. near East Washington Avenue and North Eastern Avenue.
Authorities said a large vehicle struck overhead power lines, causing them to fall onto the roadway. Currently, there are no reported injuries, and impairment is not suspected as a factor in the incident.
Both northbound and southbound lanes of Eastern Avenue are closed between Harris Avenue and Washington Avenue while the investigation continues. Emergency responders are on scene to assist.
