CONWAY, N.H. — The Conway Covered Bridge on East Side Road over the Saco River is closed to vehicle traffic following damage from a recent crash, authorities reported.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announced the closure and noted that the southern sidewalk will remain accessible to pedestrians. Repairs are expected to take several months.
Message boards and signs have been installed on both sides of the bridge to inform drivers of the closure.
No injuries have been reported, and further details regarding the incident are still being confirmed. NHDOT will oversee the repair process and provide additional updates as they become available.
