PLAISTOW, N.H. — A child and an adult were flown to Boston area hospitals following a four-vehicle crash on Main Street at East and West Pine Street around 3:45 p.m. Thursday.
According to the Plaistow Fire Department, emergency calls reported the incident, which involved four vehicles, two of which overturned. A woman was trapped in a vehicle on its side, requiring approximately 40 minutes for rescue personnel to free her.
Two additional individuals sustained injuries and were transported to the hospital. The fire department noted that injuries ranged from minor to life-threatening.
The New Hampshire State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating the incident. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Officer Tim D'Entremont at 603-382-1200.
