Charges Filed in Deadly Crash
City, State — Date — Authorities have filed charges following a fatal crash on Highway 25 near mile marker 12 at 6:15 p.m. on September 15.
A 35-year-old man driving a pickup truck collided with a sedan carrying three occupants. The driver of the sedan, a 28-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passengers, ages 30 and 31, sustained serious injuries and were transported to City Hospital for treatment.
According to the State Highway Patrol, the pickup truck was traveling northbound when it crossed into the southbound lanes and struck the sedan. Emergency services responded quickly, including the City Fire Department and local law enforcement.
Witnesses reported seeing the pickup swerving before the collision. Lane closures were in effect for approximately two hours as investigation and cleanup efforts were conducted.
