Car crashes into two parked vehicles and a house porch in Attleboro early Saturday morning.
ATTLEBORO, Mass. —
The incident occurred at approximately 6 a.m. at 314 South Main St.
According to the Attleboro Fire Department, a vehicle veered off the roadway, striking two parked cars before colliding with the porch of a residence.
The driver was assessed at the scene by emergency medical personnel but declined to be transported to a hospital. Authorities have not indicated whether any charges will be filed.
Debris from a damaged fence was dispersed around the area following the crash.
The Attleboro Building Department reported no structural damage to the home involved.
District Chief Michael Maitland noted, “The home's natural gas service is located just feet from the porch and the path of the crash. Fortunately, neither the vehicle nor the debris struck those lines. Damage to the gas service could have significantly changed the scope of this incident.”
Emergency units cleared the scene at 6:35 a.m.
