Stoughton, MA—A 39-year-old man died following a bicycle and car collision on Route 138 early Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred around 5 a.m. near Morton Street. Mark Salvador was transported to a Boston hospital after police received a 911 call, according to Stoughton Police and the Norfolk District Attorney's Office.
Salvador was pronounced dead within an hour of arriving at the hospital.
State and local police are investigating the circumstances of the crash. Authorities did not confirm whether the vehicle involved remained at the scene.
