MADISON (WKOW) — A traffic incident on westbound U.S. 12 near Verona Road prompted lane closures Tuesday evening. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation confirmed the crash occurred at 5:33 p.m. on October 20, leading to the shutdown of the two leftmost lanes.
Initially, officials estimated that the roadway would remain closed for roughly an hour. However, conditions improved faster than expected, and all lanes reopened by 6:25 p.m.
