Two injured in crash involving motorcycle and pickup in Gasconade County on Friday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 65-year-old man from Bonner Springs, Kansas, was riding a Harley Davidson Ultra eastbound on Highway 50 at Missouri 28 near Rosebud when the incident occurred.
A 2021 Ford Ranger, driven by a 63-year-old man from St. Robert, was traveling westbound when it entered the turn lane and crossed into the motorcycle's path. The motorcycle collided with the truck, resulting in both riders being ejected.
Authorities reported that the female passenger, also 65 and from Bonner Springs, was flown to Mercy St. Louis Hospital with serious injuries. The male driver sustained minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to the same hospital. The truck's driver remained uninjured.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, but no further details on road conditions or potential lane closures were available. The accident remains under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
