Mike Wolfe Hospitalized After Columbia, Tennessee Car Accident
Columbia, Tennessee—Mike Wolfe, star of “American Pickers,” and his girlfriend Leticia Cline were hospitalized following a car accident on Sept. 12. According to authorities, Wolfe and Cline were traveling in a Porsche 356 when another vehicle collided with them.
Wolfe was treated at a local hospital and later discharged, while Cline sustained severe injuries, including a broken jaw, broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and swelling on her spine. She was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for urgent care.
In a recent Instagram post, Wolfe described the incident as a life-altering experience. “When your life is so close to being cut short, you find yourself recalibrating all that's important,” he wrote. Both Wolfe and Cline were reportedly wearing lap seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Cline, who had just undergone surgery, emphasized her injuries but maintained a positive outlook, stating, “My mouth will be wired shut but I still got my brain and that's all that matters.”
In the days leading up to the incident, the couple was in Columbia for a photoshoot related to Wolfe's upcoming book on the motorcycle industry.
Mike Wolfe, 61, has starred in “American Pickers” since its debut in 2010 and is known for his work in antiques. He previously finalized his divorce in 2021 and shares a daughter with his ex-wife.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing, and no further details about the other vehicle or its occupants have been reported.
