Multi-Vehicle Crash Backs Up Traffic on I-65 in Davidson County
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TN — A multi-vehicle crash occurred around 2:41 p.m. on Interstate 65 near mile marker 77, blocking three of four northbound lanes.
Authorities said the collision involved five vehicles. Emergency medical services responded to the scene, and at least two individuals sustained injuries. The extent of their injuries has not been confirmed.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is on site investigating the incident. Towing services are currently removing the vehicles involved in the crash.
As a result of the blockage, significant traffic delays have been reported. Northbound traffic is advised to seek alternative routes. Authorities estimate that lane closures will remain in effect while the investigation and cleanup are underway.
