Five Injured in Helicopter Crash Near Camp Pendleton on Tuesday Afternoon

CAMP PENDLETON, CA — Five individuals were injured in a helicopter crash during a radar modernization flight on Tuesday, October 3, at approximately 2:41 p.m.

The incident occurred in a remote area near the military base. Authorities reported that the aircraft involved was a military helicopter undergoing routine operations. Emergency response teams, including the CAMP PENDLETON Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol, arrived on the scene shortly after the crash to provide immediate medical aid and transport the injured to nearby hospitals.
