Nine Injured in Collision Involving Fire Engine and Bustang in Downtown Colorado Springs

At approximately 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, a collision occurred between a Colorado Springs Fire Department engine and a Bustang at Tejon and Bijou streets.

The fire engine was responding to a medical call when the incident unfolded. Four firefighters sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital. Additionally, five of the seven passengers on the Bustang bus were also taken to the hospital for evaluation and treatment, according to the Colorado Springs Fire Department.
