Echo & the Bunnymen Postpone Show Following Injury in Crash
MEMPHIS, TN—October 3, 2023—Echo & the Bunnymen's concert scheduled for this evening has been postponed due to injuries sustained by lead singer Ian McCulloch in a car crash earlier today.
According to authorities, McCulloch was involved in a collision on Interstate 40 at approximately 2:41 p.m. The crash involved two vehicles and resulted in McCulloch requiring medical attention. Reports indicate that he was transported to a local hospital; however, details regarding the extent of his injuries remain unconfirmed.
Emergency responders, including the Memphis Police Department and local paramedics, arrived at the scene shortly after the incident. Lane closures on the eastbound side of the interstate were implemented to facilitate the response and investigation.
