READING, Mass. — One person was hospitalized following a two-car crash on Interstate 95 southbound at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
According to authorities, the incident involved a blue car and a white car. Witnesses reported aggressive driving behavior prior to the collision, with one driver cutting off the other, which led to the blue car clipping the white vehicle. The impact caused the white car to become airborne and flip over in the median.
Emergency responders assessed one individual with injuries at the scene, who was later transported to a local hospital. The extent of the victim's injuries is currently unknown.
The Massachusetts State Police are conducting an investigation into the crash. Lane closures were briefly implemented as teams worked to clear the roadway. Additional updates will follow as information becomes available.
