MADISON (WKOW) — A pedestrian was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on East Washington Avenue/U.S. Highway 151 on Wednesday.
The incident occurred at 11:45 a.m. near Paterson Street, close to Breese Stevens Field, according to the Madison Police Department.
All southbound lanes of East Washington Avenue were closed from Livingston Street to Brearly Street during the investigation and aftermath. The road fully reopened by 3:53 p.m.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. Further details regarding the number and types of vehicles involved, as well as confirmed injuries, have yet to be released.
