Rudy Giuliani Recovering After Car Crash in New Hampshire
WASHINGTON (TNND) — Rudy Giuliani, 81, is recovering from injuries sustained in a car crash on Saturday evening in New Hampshire.
According to Michael Ragusa, Giuliani's head of security, Giuliani's vehicle was struck from behind while traveling on a highway. He suffered a fractured thoracic vertebra, multiple lacerations, contusions, and injuries to his left arm and lower leg. Giuliani was transported to a nearby trauma center for treatment.
Ragusa confirmed that the accident was not a targeted attack, describing it as “random and unrelated” to a domestic violence incident Giuliani had responded to prior to the crash. Giuliani had stopped to assist a woman flagged down by the victim before the collision occurred.
The vehicle involved in the accident was a rental car, and Ragusa noted that “no one knew it was him.” He reassured the public regarding Giuliani's condition, stating, “He's doing great. Conscious, alert, strong. He'll be back to business as usual this week.”
Andrew Giuliani, Rudy's son, expressed gratitude for the support received following the incident, noting on X, “Your prayers mean the world.”
