Fatal Crash Under Investigation in Clinton
CLINTON, Miss. — A fatal single-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 20 between Norrell Road and Natchez Trace Parkway at approximately 8:30 a.m. on August 30.
A 29-year-old woman, a passenger in the vehicle, was killed when the driver lost control and struck a tree in the median, according to Hinds County Interim Coroner Jeramiah Howard. The driver sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
Authorities have not released the names of those involved. The incident is currently under investigation.
