MOORE, Okla. (KOKH) — Authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting following a vehicle chase and crash in Cleveland County on Wednesday morning.

At approximately 9:10 a.m., Moore Police Department officers attempted to stop a vehicle in the 300 block of N.W. 27th St. The driver fled, initiating a chase southbound on I-35. The pursuit exited at Flood Ave and continued to Tecumseh Rd.

As the chase reached Tecumseh Rd. and 24th St. NW, an officer executed a pit maneuver, resulting in a crash. Authorities reported that shots were fired by officers during the incident.

The condition of the driver is currently unknown, but no officers were injured. The area around Tecumseh Rd. and 24th St. NW remains closed as the investigation continues.
