Milton Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Lewes Parking Lot

A 63-year-old woman died on Jan. 30 after being hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of Weis Markets in Lewes.

According to Delaware State Police, at 3:22 p.m., a 2015 black Jeep Cherokee, driven by an 86-year-old man from Lewes, was traveling southbound in the parking lot. The woman, identified as Deborah Priddy, walked into the vehicle's path and was struck.

Emergency responders transported Priddy to a local hospital, where she was . The driver of the Jeep was not injured in the incident.
