Traffic Delays on Route 28 in Falmouth Due to Rollover Crash
FALMOUTH, MA — A rollover crash on Route 28 south caused significant traffic delays Thursday morning.
According to Falmouth Police, the incident occurred at approximately 6 a.m., prompting the closure of Route 28 between Route 151 and Thomas B. Landers Road.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation advised at 7:30 a.m. that southbound Route 28 would remain closed throughout the morning commute, with traffic being detoured onto Route 151. Authorities urged drivers to seek alternate routes.
By mid-morning, Falmouth Police reported that one lane had reopened but cautioned motorists to drive carefully in the area.
