Newport, ME— A two-vehicle collision in Newport left three individuals injured Monday afternoon at the intersection of Roussin Road and Elm Street.
According to the Newport Police Department, a vehicle exiting Roussin Road was struck by another car traveling west on Elm Street. Both vehicles subsequently rolled over, trapping at least one occupant inside.
Emergency responders transported the three occupants to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not disclosed further information about the injured individuals.
The Newport Police Department is investigating the incident. No additional details regarding lane closures or towing have been provided at this time.
