Motorcyclist Killed in Waterville Collision with Van on Thursday Morning
WATERVILLE, ME — A motorcyclist died Thursday morning after colliding with a Kennebec Valley Community Action Program vehicle at approximately 10 a.m.
The crash occurred near the intersection of College Avenue and Crescent Street, according to the Morning Sentinel. The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released.
Emergency responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. No injuries to the van driver or passengers were reported.
Debris from the incident was scattered around the intersection, with the motorcycle sustaining significant damage. Authorities closed a portion of College Avenue while investigating the circumstances of the crash.
