Two Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Taunton, MA
TAUNTON, MA — Two individuals were injured in a multi-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Friday evening, according to authorities. The incident occurred around 5:48 p.m. at the intersection of Cape Highway and Richmond Street.
Responding officers found three vehicles at the scene: a Victory V92 motorcycle, a Hyundai sedan, and a GMC pickup truck. The motorcycle driver, a 35-year-old man from Middleborough, was airlifted to a local trauma center with serious injuries. The Hyundai driver, a 60-year-old man, was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
The GMC driver, a 27-year-old man, reportedly did not sustain any injuries.
Authorities are investigating the crash, which is one of two serious incidents reported in a 15-minute span on Friday. Just prior to this collision, police responded to Tremont Street where a 14-year-old girl on a bicycle was struck by an SUV.
