MADISONVILLE, Ohio (WKRC) — One person sustained critical injuries in a crash involving a school bus on Tuesday at the intersection of Red Bank and Duck Creek.
According to Cincy Fire & EMS, a car collided with the rear of the bus. Emergency responders rescued an individual from the passenger vehicle, who was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A photograph shared by the department shows the car partially wedged under the bus. Authorities reported that deputies were pursuing the vehicle on Interstate 71 shortly before the incident occurred. The driver is believed to be in his 20s.
As of Wednesday evening, the driver's condition is unknown. Authorities confirmed that no one else was injured in the crash.
