AUBURN — A 36-year-old Mechanic Falls man was injured Monday afternoon after his e-bike collided with a on Hotel Road.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., Stephen Manchester reportedly veered into the rear of a stopped Ram 2500, driven by 55-year-old Michael Barrett of Auburn. Authorities stated Barrett was preparing to make a left turn when the incident occurred.

Manchester sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital in Lewiston for treatment.

Emergency responders closed a portion of Hotel Road for about 20 minutes while rescue crews addressed the scene and initiated an investigation. As of Monday night, the investigation remained ongoing, according to Police.
