OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — A 15-year-old from Stillwater was killed in a crash late Saturday night on US-177 in Payne County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a Kansas man traveling westbound on East 104th Street failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a vehicle heading northbound on US-177 toward Stillwater.

The crash caused the Kansas man's vehicle to leave the roadway and become fully engulfed in flames. The second vehicle, which had four occupants, went off the road, rolled down an embankment, and landed on its roof.

Authorities reported that the Kansas man sustained injuries, along with the driver of the second vehicle and two passengers. Tragically, the 15-year-old passenger in the second vehicle was at the scene.

Emergency response teams were dispatched, and the roadway was temporarily closed for an investigation.
