JOHNSTON, R.I. (WJAR) — A RIPTA bus was involved in a crash on George Waterman Road at Polk Street Wednesday at approximately 4:30 p.m.
The collision occurred when the bus struck a vehicle exiting Polk Street. Authorities confirmed that the driver of the other vehicle received a right-of-way violation.
Both drivers were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The Johnston Police Department is investigating the incident. No lane closures were reported.
