WILLIAMSON CO., Tenn. (WTVF) — A multi-vehicle crash has closed I-840 Eastbound near the I-65 North ramp as of approximately 3:41 p.m.
The Williamson County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) confirmed several vehicles were involved in the collision, located near the Peytonsville Road exit.
This incident follows a prior crash in the same region earlier today, which involved a semi-truck and trailer that caught fire.
Authorities said emergency crews are currently on the scene working to clear the roadway. One lane has reopened, but significant delays are expected.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes to avoid backups.
