Woman, Baby Killed in Wichita Crash on Interstate 35

Wichita, KS. – A Minneapolis woman and a baby were killed in a crash that left ten other people injured early Thursday morning in Minneapolis.

The double-fatal crash happened just after midnight southbound Interstate 35 in Sumner County.

A 55-year-old Circle Pines man had been driving a 2020 Chevrolet Express van pulling a trailer when it overturned, blocking the southbound lanes of the Freeway.

A short time later, a 63-year-old man driving a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee crashed into the overturned van.

A 58-year-old Minneapolis woman in the van and an infant were killed in the accident.

Five other occupants of the van suffered serious injuries and two others, including an infant, were with minor injuries.
