Berkley, MA – A 63-year-old man died following a paramotor crash at Myricks Airport on Sunday morning.

The crash occurred at 9:40 a.m. when Berkley Police received a 911 call from a witness reporting the incident at the airport, located at 168 Padelford Street. Responders found a large divot in the field and discovered Gary Williams, 63, of Cranston, Rhode Island, nearby with serious injuries.

Williams was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities reported that the paramotor exhibited fuel leakage and a broken propeller in multiple locations.
