Suspect Attempts to Flee Scene After Fatal Dallas Crash, Police Report.

DALLAS, TX — April 6, 2026: Two men died early Sunday morning following a crash involving an alleged drunk driver at Military Parkway and North Jim Miller Road.

Authorities arrested 22-year-old Isaac Chacon and charged him with two counts of intoxication manslaughter and two counts of collision involving death. The incident occurred just before 2 a.m. when Chacon reportedly collided with another vehicle.

One victim died at the scene, while the other succumbed to injuries at a nearby hospital. Witnesses report that Chacon attempted to flee but was detained until police arrived.

According to an arrest affidavit, witnesses provided details of the crash and identified Chacon as the driver. The victims have been identified as Orinthius Deante Brown, aged 34, and another male, aged 40.

Dallas Police and emergency medical services responded promptly, providing aid and initiating an investigation. Lane closures were implemented for the duration of the response and investigation.

Dawson, Brown's partner of over a decade, stated, “Anything less than life behind bars would not provide justice for the victims' loved ones.”
