PITTSBURG, N.H. — A woman from Tennessee suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in a snowmobile crash Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred shortly after noon on Trail 141, near the intersection of Route 3 and Black Lake Road, according to New Hampshire Fish and Game. Authorities stated the woman was operating a rental snowmobile for the first time when she lost control and collided with a parked camper after crossing Route 3.
The driver was ejected from the snowmobile and sustained an arm injury. Her passenger was unharmed. She declined treatment from first responders and was transported by a private vehicle to Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook for further evaluation.
