OSSIPEE, N.H. — New Hampshire State Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash on Route 25 that occurred Tuesday night.
Authorities said a 79-year-old woman was driving westbound when her vehicle struck a man walking in the roadway around 8:30 p.m. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his identity has not been released.
State Police reported that the driver is cooperating with the investigation. No charges have been announced at this time.
