DENVER, CO—Eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 reopened Saturday morning following a fatal hit-and-run crash at Havana Street.

The Denver Police Department is investigating the incident involving four vehicles that resulted in one death. Authorities said the driver involved fled the scene.

According to officials, the crash prompted lane closures at Central Park Boulevard beginning around 4:30 a.m. One individual was transported to a nearby hospital, but their condition remains unknown.

During the recovery efforts, traffic was diverted off eastbound I-70 and I-270 at Central Park Boulevard, with officials advising drivers to avoid the area.
