Man killed and another injured in southeast Louisville crash.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A crash in southeast Louisville resulted in one fatality and one injury Thursday night.

Around 8:35 p.m., the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the 5000 block of Routt Road, near Pope Lick Park, for reports of a collision. Upon arrival, officers found multiple injured individuals.

Two people were transported to the hospital, where one man later succumbed to his injuries. The identity of the deceased has not been released.

Authorities confirmed that the LMPD Traffic Unit is actively investigating the incident.
