TUSCOLA — A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries in a crash with an SUV on U.S. 45 Tuesday morning, according to State Police.
James E. Kleiss, 66, was southbound in a Ford Edge and preparing to turn left onto Northline Road when the collision occurred. Jeffrey E. Marker, 53, was traveling northbound on U.S. 45 when Kleiss turned in front of him, resulting in a collision on the passenger side of Kleiss's vehicle.
Marker was ejected from his motorcycle during the impact and sustained minor injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment, authorities said.
Kleiss has been cited for failing to yield. The accident remains under investigation, and no further details have been released regarding lane closures or the status of the roadway.
