Mother Found Dead in Vehicle in Casper, Wyoming
CASPER, Wyo. — A Wyoming mother was found dead in her vehicle on Sunday morning after being reported missing for three days, local authorities confirmed.
Emergency responders were dispatched to Casper Mountain Road at approximately 9:20 a.m. following a report of a vehicle that appeared to have left the roadway. Upon arrival, they discovered the vehicle with its sole occupant, Kandice Gunter, 30. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Casper Police Department.
The Natrona County Coroner's Office has identified Gunter, who was last seen on the morning of October 29. Her family expressed concern when she did not arrive to pick up her two children, ages 9 and 6, from the Boys & Girls Club on that day.
Authorities reported that the circumstances leading to Gunter's death and the cause of the incident are currently being examined. There is no evidence of foul play or involvement from another party, police said.
Gunter had recently relocated from Nevada to Casper to be closer to her children. Her sister, Kayla, emphasized that missing the pickup was completely out of character for her.
The investigation is ongoing, with further details yet to be released by police.
