ROSE HILL, Duplin County — Emergency crews responded to two separate crashes on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
The first incident occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m., involving a passenger vehicle and a light pole. Rescue 6 and Engine 2 were on the scene to check for injuries and manage traffic flow.
The second crash involved an 18-wheeler and a passenger vehicle, resulting in significant damage. Firefighters removed patients from the wreckage, who were then transferred to EMS for further medical attention.
The Teachey Fire Department also assisted at the scene. Authorities said the investigation into both incidents is ongoing.
