A man lost his life in a collision involving a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer on Interstate 35W in Burleson early Monday morning. The incident occurred around 4:22 a.m. in the 1700 block of northbound I-35W, according to the Burleson Police Department.
The driver of the pickup, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, the occupant of the tractor-trailer did not sustain any injuries.
The identity of the deceased man has yet to be made public. In the wake of the accident, traffic on northbound I-35W is being redirected to the service road at Bethesda Road, and the entrance ramp from Bethesda Road is currently closed.
