MANSFIELD, MA — A cement truck rollover on Interstate 495 early Thursday disrupted traffic during the morning commute.
Authorities said the incident occurred at 5:10 a.m. on I-495 south near Exit 31. Troopers arrived to find the commercial vehicle overturned on its side.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation also responded, implementing lane closures on I-495 southbound and the Exit 33 ramp to I-95. Traffic was further affected with the narrowing of I-95 northbound Exit 12A.
With the right and center lanes closed, significant delays were anticipated, prompting officials to advise drivers to seek alternate routes. No injuries were reported, according to State Police, who are investigating the crash.
The vehicle was cleared from the roadway, and all lanes reopened shortly after 7 a.m.
