A multi-car crash at the Charlotte NASCAR race concluded Stage 1, involving drivers Bubba Wallace, Alex Bowman, and William Byron.
After the collision, Wallace exited his vehicle and walked to an ambulance for evaluation. He was treated and subsequently released from the infield care center.
The incident occurred when Bowman lost control at the bottom of the track, colliding with Wallace, who then crashed into the wall. Byron struck Bowman, contributing to the wreck as Wallace's car slid down the track.
All three vehicles sustained significant damage. Tyler Reddick narrowly avoided involvement in the crash.
The accident prompted the second caution of the race and concluded Stage 1. Kyle Larson maintained the lead at the opening of Stage 2.
