MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX News) — A crash in Montgomery County resulted in the death of a Lexington woman on Monday night.
According to the Montgomery County Coroner's Office, the victim has been identified as 36-year-old Felicia G. Joseph. She was struck by a vehicle near the Pilot Travel Center on Owingsville Road (U.S. 60), close to Exit 113 off Interstate 64.
Authorities reported that the roadway was closed for several hours while crash investigators processed the scene. Joseph's body has been sent to the Kentucky Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, involving the Montgomery County Coroner's Office, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, and Kentucky State Police.
