COLUMBUS, Ohio — A pedestrian was critically injured shortly after midnight Friday in Northeast Columbus when a dark-colored sedan struck them at Schrock Road and Busch Boulevard.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, the crash occurred as the sedan turned from westbound Schrock Road onto southbound Busch Boulevard and hit a pedestrian in the crosswalk.
Authorities said the sedan continued southbound after the collision; the suspected vehicle was later located.
Medics transported the pedestrian to Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition.
The Columbus Division of Police Accident Investigation Unit is investigating.
