Columbus, Ohio — A 45-year-old man died after a single-vehicle crash on I-70 West near South James Road just after 7 p.m. Sept. 11.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, the driver, identified as Carl Moorer Sr., lost control of his 2003 Chevrolet Suburban on I-70 West, west of South James Road, crossed the median's cable barrier and struck an overhead street sign.
Authorities said the SUV rolled several times and Moorer was ejected. Columbus Division of Fire medics pronounced him dead at 7:11 p.m.
Police said no other vehicles were involved. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
