Excelsior Springs Man Indicted in North of Liberty

LIBERTY, MO — An Excelsior Springs man was indicted on Monday for his involvement in a hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of a from Wisconsin.

The collision occurred on Saturday, October 14, at approximately 2:41 p.m. on Highway 69 North near the intersection with Highway 291. Authorities reported that two vehicles were involved in the crash.

The victim, a 35-year-old male, was at the scene. Emergency responders, including the Missouri Highway Patrol and local paramedics, arrived shortly after the incident. No additional injuries among other parties were reported.

According to the authorities, the suspect fled the scene but was later apprehended. He has been charged with multiple offenses related to the hit-and-run. While his identity has not been officially released, the case is currently under investigation.
