MADISON (WKOW) — A traffic collision on the northbound lanes of Interstate 39, near the junction with Interstate 94, resulted in significant delays on Friday afternoon. The accident occurred at 3:41 p.m. and impacted all traffic heading northbound.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the incident created backup stretching over three miles. Thankfully, all lanes were cleared and reopened by 4:17 p.m., allowing traffic to resume its normal flow.
