CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 14-year-old bicyclist was flown to a Nashville hospital Tuesday afternoon after being struck by an SUV.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Black Oak Circle, according to the Clarksville Police Department.
Authorities reported that the child, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered injuries and was transported by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The current condition of the child has not been disclosed.
The Clarksville Police Department's Fatal Accident Crash Team is conducting the investigation.
