Eugene, OR — Lane County is set to begin the third trial of Amber Gonzalez-Riddle, charged in connection with a fatal crash near Willamette Pass in November 2022.

According to authorities, Gonzalez-Riddle was involved in a crash on Highway 58, east of Oakridge, while fleeing a suspected domestic violence incident. The collision resulted in the death of her 5-year-old daughter and injuries to herself, her boyfriend, her younger daughter, and the occupants of the other vehicle involved.
